NATURE.

JABAL FALAIJ.

An isolated group of
low hills called
JABAL PADAIJ.

The principal hills of
the DHAHIRAH DI STRICT
are offshoots and out liers of the HAJAR RATGE

and include JABAL TAL AIJ, lying some 25 miles
to the N.W.of 'IBRI.

A double-headed hill. On BARR- AL-QARAH Coast,
It appears to be also immediately South of
called J ABAL LUGHBAT- DOHAT HAMAH.
AIN.

GRAIN or QRAIN. The name of a small

isolated hill,of a
Khor or depression,
and some wells. In
spite of it being
called a Khor or
Inlet, it appears to
have no communica tion with the sea
and its drainage is
said to sink into
the ground.

All situated in KUWAIT
Territory on the bound ary between the ADAN
and SALU' Districts.The
hill is about 40 miles
s.of KUWAIT TOWN and..
about 14 miles inland.

Wells are 4 miles from
it to the .S.W. The..
Khor depression lies to
the N.and E.of the hill
between it and the sea;
it measures about 6
miles in each direction
and is overgrown with
grass and bushes.

JABAL HADDAH.

A ridge known as
JABAL HADDAH, off shoota of the TIAJAR
Hill system.

Lie within DHAHIRAH in
OMAN PROPHR, runs W.N.V.
from the South end of
JABAL- AL-KOR,

JABAL HATTI.

A range of hills.
Direction of range
N.and s.Its maximum
elevation above the
JAU PLAIN about 1500
feet.Total popula tion of JABAI HATIT
about 5500 souls.

In JAU PLAIN, Independ ent Oman, begins 4 miles
8.01 BARAIBI VILLAGE
and runs thence about
24 miles in a southerly
direction.
