This file contains miscellaneous papers, reports, correspondence, and treaties relating to Arabia, the Gulf and the wider Middle East, primarily from 1933-1955. It contains:
- A report on the international status of the Red Sea Islands, including the Rome Agreement of 1927, regarding British and Italian interests in the region
- The treaty of friendship between Transjordan and Saudi Arabia of 1933
- George William Rendel's report on his tour of the Gulf and Saudi Arabia in 1937
- Correspondence relating to the Arab Revolt from 1914 to 1916, primarily between Lord Kitchener [Herbert Kitchener] and Abdulla Bin Hussein Al Hashmi, and between the Sharif of Mecca Hussein Bin Ali Al Hashmi and Sir A H McMahon
- The report from W H Ingrams on his visit to Yemen in 1941, including a sketch map
