Economic development in Trucial States, 1960

This file relates to the economic development of the Trucial States. It contains correspondence relating to: Request from the Political Agency for an immediate order of equipment to be placed with the Crown Agents for the Agricultural Trials Station at Ras Al Khaimah. It includes a list of equipment (17) Aerial surveys in the Trucial States, including the recommendation that work for Abu Dhabi should be done before Sharjah and Ras Al Khaimah. Also, that accounts for states should be done separately and submitted before the end of the financial year.

The Crown Agents ask for advice on how to inform the Ruler of Sharjah Sheikh Saqr Bin Sultan Al Qasimi that they do not wish to deal through Fouad Antoun of Middle East Stamps Incorporated (1) Signing of an agreement between the Sheikh of Himriyya [Hamriyah] Humaid Bin Abdul Rahman and Fouad Antoun for the publishing of postage stamps.
