Request from the Ruler of Abu Dhabi Sheikh Shakhbut Bin Sultan Al Nahyan for a British company to work the mineral deposits in Abu Dhabi. He hopes it might provide an alternative means of livelihood for those, such as on Dalma Island, who can no longer make a living by pearling.
