This file concerns the final clearance of outstanding matters following the British military withdrawal from the Gulf. It contains correspondence relating to:
- The UK's Ministry of Defence (MOD) pressing Aeradio Technical Services for the delivery date of second generation airport (APT) equipment for Bahrain International Airport, including a memorandum by P A Raftery stating that the MOD agreed to lend APT equipment to the Civil Aviation Directorate until the replacement has been installed
- The MOD agreeing to sell the premises of the Joint Services Sailing Club in Dubai to Colonel Carson and Colonel Daniells
