Oman: internal political situation

• A proposal that the Somaliland Scouts be deployed in Oman in support of the Sultan’s Armed Forces (SAF)

• Discussions with the US Consul General in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia W K Scwinn regarding the rebellion as well as the recruitment, training and support for the Omani Liberation Army at Oqair

• Reports on tribal diplomacy between the rebels and leaders of other tribes
• Reports on the activities of the Trucial Oman Scouts in Oman
