Description of frontier between Abu Dhabi
and Saudi Arabia, Muscat and Oman and Saudi Arabia,
and the Aden Protectorate and Saudi Arabia, as
declared by Her Majesty's Government to the Saudi
Arabian Government in Jedda Notes No. 196 of
August 14, 1955, and No. 243 of October 26, 1955.

The frontier runs in a straight line between
the following points: 
51°02'E. 24°35'N. Intersection of Riyadh Line
and Southern boundary of Qatar (as claimed by
the Ruler of Qatar at the Dammam Conference, 1952).
51°08'E. 24°18'N. Midway point between
Halwain and Nakhlah on the Riyadh Line as
described in Article 2 of Sir A. Ryan's Note
of November 25, 1935.

51°45'E. 23°50'N. This is the position of Suſuk
as plotted on the I.P.C. Map "Qatar-Trucial Coast",
1:500.000 (TP-813 July 1955). (This is the 1937
modification of the Riyadh Line, leaving Suſuk to
Saudi Arabia). No to

55°12'E. 22°43'N. Umm al Zamul (as plotted on
I. P. C. Map). South of this point the territory
of the Sultan of Muscat and Oman marches with
Saudi Arabia.
55°40'E. 22°N. On "the line beyond which the
Sultan makes no claim", May 11, 1937.
55°E. 200N.

On the line beyond which the
Sultan makes no claim".
520E. 190N.

On the line beyond which the
Sultan makes no claim". At this point the Line
meets the boundary of the Eastern Aden Protectorate
which runs from there along the southern fringe of
the sand dunes on the general lines of the following
co-ordinates: 51°03'E. 18°48'N., 48°20'E. 18010'N.
Thence it runs due South-West to the boundary of the
Yemen.
