This file contains a memorandum outlining the proposed establishment of a force to provide security in the area of Al Dhahira [Al Dhahirah] in Oman, given the threat from armed parties of Bedu. It is expected to take 18 months to raise a capable force, which would also be useful for any future exploration of the Huqf area.
