This file concerns requests from KLM and Air France for permission to operate land planes along the Arabian Coast of the Gulf. It contains correspondence and minute sheets relating to:

  • Concerns that permission to use landing grounds along the Persian [Iranian] coast of the Gulf may not be extended and proposals for establishing a landing ground on the Arabian Coast
  • Intention of Imperial Airways to establish an air route along the Arabian Coast of the Gulf and an enquiry from KLM as to whether their planes will be able to use the same facilities
