- An Iranian goodwill mission to Bahrain to inform the Ruler Sheikh Isa Bin Salman Al Khalifa that Iran has dropped its claim and accepted the UN Security Council resolution
- A planned return mission to Iran led by the President of the Bahrain State Council Sheikh Khalifa Bin Salman Al Khalifa and the agreement in principle to a visit by Sheikh Isa, depending on assurances that he would be received by the Shah Mohammad Reza Pahlavi
