• Refusal of Libyan national Dr Ali Ahmad Attiga to sign the Declaration of Non Violence and his exemption from the requirement to sign the Declaration on future visits to the UK
• Visit by the Head Storeman at the Kuwaiti Ministry of Information Hasan Ibrahim to the UK

• Application of Zuwayed Sayer Al Shammari for a one-month tourist visa to the UK, in order to accompany his brother during the continuation of the latter's medical treatment
• Application of Zuhair Abdulla of the Kuwait Oil Company (KOC) for a visa to the UK
• Visit by the Kuwaiti Minister of Public Health and Planning Dr Abdul Rahman Al Awadh to observe the computerised health systems operating at Singleton Hospital in Swansea
