  • Refusal of Libyan national Dr Ali Ahmad Attiga to sign the Declaration of Non Violence and his exemption from the requirement to sign the Declaration on future visits to the UK
  • Visit by the Head Storeman at the Kuwaiti Ministry of Information Hasan Ibrahim to the UK
  • Visit by the Kuwaiti Minister of Information and Police officials to the Metropolitan Police
  • Visit by the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia Abdulla Bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud and the Foreign Minister of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah Al Ahmad Al Sabah to Damascus on a new Gulf war mediation initiative and an expected visit by Syrian President Hafez Al Assad to Tehran
