This file relates to the internal political situation in Muscat. It contains correspondence on:

  • Measures taken from various reports given on arms coming from Buraimi
  • Reports on fighting taking place at Tawi Silaim [Tawi Salim] in Sharqiya
  • Confirmation that Major Dennison has been wounded and there have been further casualties after attempting to recover a broken down vehicle between the villages of Ghabi and Mintirib. Aircraft have been sent to Ibri for urgent casualty evacuation. It also includes several accounts and reports of the incident
  • Discussions on the appropriate offensive air action to be taken
