• The visit to the Trucial States of an 'armed delegation' of the Shihuh to press the accession claim
• The view of the Sultan, expressed by F C L Chauncy, that the Ruler of Sharjah Sheikh Khalid Bin Mohammad Al Qasimi is encouraging Sheikh Mohammad and that Sheikh Mohammad is fomenting trouble; and the discussion between H G Balfour-Paul and Sheikh Khalid on Sheikh Mohammad's allegiances
