(e) No bulb of over 7 watts in a front lamp shall be kept lighted while a

vehicle is stationary on a road.
26.-(1) No person shall load a vehicle and no owner or other person in
charge of a vehicle shall wilfully or negligently allow it to be loaded in such
a manner that it is liable to endanger the safety of its occupants or of other
traffic or persons on the road or to damage the road.

(2) No person shall drive a vehicle and no owner or other person in
charge of a vehicle shall wilfully or negligently allow it to be driven if the
condition or loading of the vehicle is liable to endanger the safety of the
vehicle itself or of its occupants or of other traffic or persons on the road or
to damage the road.

27. The person in charge of a vehicle or animal shall when it is
stationary keep it off the road if feasible or, if not, as close as practicable
to the edge of the road and shall not leave it where it is likely to cause danger
or obstruction, and in particular at or near a road intersection or bend.

28.-(1) The following signals shall be given by any person driving a
vehicle with a right hand drive, for the purpose of indicating his intentions
to other users of the road : (a) when about to slow down or stop, extend the right arm with the palm

of the hand turned downwards and move the arm slowly up and down;
(b) when about to turn to the left, extend the right arm and rotate it from

the shoulder in an anti-clockwise direction ;
(C) when about to turn to the right, extend the right arm and hand with

the palm turned to the front and hold them rigid in a horizontal position
straight out from the right side of the vehicle (this signal may be used
in any circumstances when it may be necessary to convey the warning

to traffic following behind that it is dangerous to overtake);
(d) to indicate to following traffic that they may overtake on the right,

extend the right arm and hand below the level of the shoulder and move

them backwards and forwards.
(2) When approaching a member of the State Police Force in uniform
or any other duly authorised person engaged in the regulation of traffic, any
person driving a vehicle with a right hand drive shall give the following
signals for the purpose of indicating the direction in which he wishes to
proceed to the member of the Police Force or other duly authorised person : (a) If he wishes to go straight ahead, he shall raise the right hand towards

the shoulder and move the forearm well forward and then backwards
in a vertical plane, making the movement sufficiently pronounced to

be easily seen.
(6) If he wishes to turn to the left or to the right, he shall use the signals

described in paragraphs (b) and (c) respectively of sub-section (1) of

this Section
(3) The following signals shall be given by any person driving a vehicle
with a left-hand drive, for the purpose of indicating his intention to other
users of the road:
(a) when about to slow down or stop, extend the left arm downwards and

move the arm slowly up and down;
(b) when about to turn to the left, extend the left arm and hand with the

palm turned to the front and hold them rigid in a horizontal position
straight out from the left side of the vehicle (this signal may be used in
any circumstances when it is necessary to convey the warning to traffic
following behind that it is dangerous to overtake);
