  • Question of Britain meeting the wishes of the Ruler of Abu Dhabi Sheikh Shakhbut Bin Sultan Al Nahyan for the cession of jurisdiction and his general displeasure with HMG. It includes a comparison with Kuwait, where HMG agrees in principle to the eventual abolition of its jurisdiction, and consideration of it leading to similar demands by other Gulf states. It also mentions approval of plans to invite Sheikh Shakhbut to visit Britain (11, 13-14)
