The reports cover various information on the internal political, social and day-to-day affairs of Mecca, Madina, Taif, Yemen, Syria, Hejaz, etc. Information on Hajj pilgrimage includes expenses of Indian and Javanese pilgrims for the recovery of the effects of their deceased relatives in Hejaz, India Government communique and notification to the pilgrims on carrying gold to Hejaz, deficiency in the number of camels used during pilgrimage, food shortage for the pilgrims, and distress in the travel facilities for the pilgrims. Reports covering tribal affairs include movement of tribes, petitions to the King of Hejaz, attacks, and piracy.
