This file relates to an operation by the Sultan of Muscat and Oman Saeed Bin Taimur, to occupy Nizwa, the base of the Imam of Oman Ghalib Bin Ali Al Hina'i, which was backed by Britain and code-named ‘Full Blast’. It takes place during a dispute between the Imam and the Sultan regarding the sovereignty of Interior Oman.
