Independent British oil broker H P Drewry’s unsolicited views advice and complaints to HMG about issues including: the Onassis-Saudi Arabian oil agreement; Aristotle Socrates Onassis; the Anglo-Iranian Oil Company; and an allegation that Drewry was improperly prevented from returning to France in 1944 and 1945 by the Petroleum Attaché at the British Embassy in Paris, which ultimately prejudiced his business as an oil broker.
