An album of photographs taken during the visit of the Ruler of Dubai, Sheikh Rashid Bin Saeed Al Maktoum to the UK in June 1959. The photographs capture Sheikh Rashid's meetings with Foreign Minister John Profumo at the Foreign Office; and Prime Minister Harold Macmillan at Number 10 Downing Street. The photographs also document Sheikh Rashid's visits to: Garrard and Company Limited; the Tower of London and Crown Jewels; Rover Company Limited; Madame Tussauds; London Planetarium; London County Hall; London Council Chamber; and the London Underground.
