This file contains correspondence relating to: Political Resident in the Persian Gulf B A B Burrows' suggestion to the Sultan of Muscat and Oman Saeed Bin Taimur that Gwadur [Gwadar] might be leased to Pakistan for five years and then sold (24) Prime Minister of Pakistan's eagerness for settlement over Gwadar for two reasons. Firstly, to combat the problem of smuggling.

It also discusses potential rebel tactics, relations between British units and the Sultan's Armed Forces, and negotiations between the Sultan and the rebels (71) A note about the Oman rebel army received from the Minister of Interior's friend in Saudi Arabia.
