This file contains correspondence relating to: Minute on the restoration of trooping flights from Akrotiri to Bombay and the Far East, following the closure of the route due to the clash between India and Pakistan in September 1965. The flights had previously been re-routed from Akrotiri to Kuwait to Ceylon during winter, and from Akrotiri to Abadan to Ceylon during summer, but the direct route is now open to Eagle Airways
