This file is part A of a series of files concerning the UK Secretary of State for Defence Roy Mason's visit to Saudi Arabia, Mauritius and Oman in April 1975. This visit was the UK's first opportunity to see the senior members of the Saudi Government in action since King Khalid Bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud's accession.

This file relates to relations between the UK, Pakistan and Muscat and Oman over Gwadur [Gwadar]. It contains correspondence relating to: Discussion on the current situation regarding the 1958 Gwadar Agreement, including these four issues: the position of Major Sakhi Raja and four doctors and dentists, the interruption of recruiting, the return of all seconded Pakistani officers and the military clauses of the agreement.
