This file contains correspondence relating to: Efforts of the Ruler of Fujairah Sheikh Mohammad Bin Hamad Al Sharqi, to let a mineral concession and whether the interest of a Yugoslav company Elektrusond should be pursued, or whether this might have unwanted political risks (1) Request from the Ruler of Abu Dhabi Sheikh Shakhbut Bin Sultan Al Nahyan for a British company to work the mineral deposits in Abu Dhabi. He hopes it might provide an alternative means of livelihood for those, such as on Dalma Island, who can no longer make a living by pearling.
