This file contains correspondence relating to speculation over who would succeed King Ibn Saud in the event of his death, an invitation to Prince Abdulla Bin Faisal to visit London and reports of the detailed visits and lists of the hosts and guests of each visit, also it contains reports of other royal figures visiting the United States and Mexico.

This file contains correspondence relating to: British policy in Muscat and a proposal that any outbreaks of serious trouble by rebels should be contained rather than attacked by British units. It also discusses potential rebel tactics, relations between British units and the Sultan's Armed Forces, and negotiations between the Sultan and the rebels (71) A note about the Oman rebel army received from the Minister of Interior's friend in Saudi Arabia.
