Both men were in the Sultan's Armed Forces and from the village of Dasht Kunbel in the Mekran [Makran] district of Pakistan. It includes discussion of the incident, the accused's motives and the legal proceedings, including the issues of execution and deportation from Oman to Pakistan (1-2).
