Economic development programme for Trucial States, 1955

This file contains correspondence relating to: Visit by Mohammad Bakhit Saghir to Doha, Sharjah and Dubai. He arrived with a Lebanese passport, but no visa. Allegedly acting on behalf of Sadaka Kaki, founder of the Economic and Engineering Company Limited, he met the Ruler of Dubai Sheikh Rashid Bin Saeed Al Maktoum and the Ruler of Sharjah Sheikh Saqr Bin Sultan Al Qasimi. He proposed many development schemes, but provided no details.
