This file relates to the UK’s foreign policy in the Gulf, particularly regarding the modernisation and development of the Gulf States. It contains: Progress reports on the modernisation of HMG’s relations with the Gulf States, namely Bahrain, Qatar, the Trucial States, and Muscat and Oman, from January 1966, 1967 and 1968.
