This file contains correspondence relating to the idea of establishing a central court to hear cases where the plaintiff and the defendant are from different Trucial States, so as to avoid cases being difficult to settle due to bias. This was supported by the Ruler of Dubai Sheikh Rashid Bin Saeed Al Maktoum but opposed by Sharjah and Ras Al Khaimah (2).
