It also contains an annex and additional correspondence regarding the possible effects of Abu Dhabi's increasing output for British defence policy (6) Correspondence on the question of updating agreements relating to oil concessions, so that they are no longer made between HMG and the oil companies and no longer contain defence or telecommunications clauses.
