This file concerns slavery in the Gulf States. It contains correspondence on:

• The movements of Abdulla Bin Ghurab, who is alleged to have smuggled slaves from Buraimi to Saudi Arabia, and subsequently moved to Qatar. It includes two photographs of him
• The manumission of slaves, including discussion of rules in different states, applications for manumission certificates and lists of manumitted slaves
• The alleged purchase of a slave by Turki Bin Ataishan and the question of whether the Sultan of Muscat and Oman Saeed Bin Taimur should intervene
