Dubai: proposed deep water harbour and construction agreement

• Establishment of a Port Committee to investigate ways of speeding up the handling of goods in the port and to encourage the sale of luxury goods to short-term visitors to Dubai
• Visit by Sheikh Maktoum Bin Rashid Al Maktoum to London to ratify the port contract; and the approval by Sheikh Rashid of the port Contract Document and the Financial Agreement
