The latter accepts Britain's basic position for the restoration of relations, but is reluctant to identify himself with the British position prematurely (45) Revised draft of Hammarskjöld's reply to Prince Faisal Bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud. HMG agrees to the text, but asks for a delay in its despatch until the Sultan of Muscat and the Ruler of Abu Dhabi are informed of the proposals.
