RULES MADE UNDER ARTICLES 76 AND 77 OF THE TRUCIAL STATES ORDER IN COUNCIL, 1950 LEGAL PRACTITIONERS1. A person desiring to practise generally as a legal practitioner underthe Trucial States Order in Council, 1950, before any of the Courts constitutedfor the purposes of that Order, shall, subject to the provisions of Rule 3 (b),make a written application to the Chief Court stating his qualifications.The Judge of the Chief Court may require proof of the qualificationssubmitted, and may grant, either generally or subject to limitations, orrefuse the application. The Judge may at any time for good cause revokeor limit such grant, or on application to him by the legal practitioner revokeor vary any limitation. 2. A person granted leave to practise under Rule 1 shall have his nameinscribed on a Roll of Legal Practitioners to be kept at the office of the ChiefCourt. A certificate of leave to practise, valid until the following 1st March,shall be issued to him. 3. (a) A Judge of any Court constituted for the purposes of the Ordermay in his discretion authorise any person to practise before the Courtas a legal practitioner in a particular case, or generally in any matter underthe Order, pending a reply to an application already submitted to the ChiefCourt under Rule 1.
