This file contains a 'Report on the possible extension of Technical Education under British Auspices in Oman' by the Headmaster of the Sharjah Trade School John H Taylor and related correspondence. Taylor proposes that new schools should not be established in isolation from each other and the subsequent correspondence discusses the pros and cons, politically and educationally, as well as the practicalities of opening and expanding trade schools throughout the Trucial Coast, including in Abu Dhabi, Muscat, Ajman, Sharjah and Dubai (1-4).
