Internal security situation, 1967-1968

This file concerns the internal security situation in the Trucial States. It contains correspondence on: The visit of Lord Lloyd to the Trucial States and his concerns about the security situation and whether the Gulf might be vulnerable to the same type of disturbances as in Aden Reports of a dispute in Ras Al Khaimah between members of the Shihuh tribe and the German company Held & Francke who are quarrying stone near their territory with an article from the Guardian dated 15 April 1968.
