This file contains correspondence relating to: Political Resident in the Persian Gulf B A B Burrows' views on the Gwadur [Gwadar] boundary question and discussions between the Pakistani Prime Minister and High Commissioner in Pakistan (1) 1862 despatch [enclosed] which defined the coastal limits of Gwadar at that time (2) Bahrain seabed frontier with Saudi Arabia. The Ruler of Bahrain Sheikh Salman Bin Hamad Al Khalifa asked for HMG assistance. King Saud Bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud says he will be happy to settle this only after a Buraimi solution (3-4)
