TRANSIT VISAS Article 3 Transit visas may not be renewed except in circumstances of necessity. ENTRY PERUITS Article 1 (1) Every person desiring to enter should have a sponsor who is lawfully resident. The latter shall apply to the Department on the specified form for the issue of an entry permit to the person mentioned. On the issue of the entry permit it shall be handed over to the sponsor who is then responsible for sending it to the person he has sponsored. (11) The following persons shall be exempt from the condition of sponsorship: (a) Transit passengers issued with transit vises (b) Persons issued with entry permits in accordance with the wish of the Ruler concerned. Article 5 (1) On the arrival of the holder of an entry permit at a designated entry point, the Immigration officer in that post shall stamp the passport or travel document of the said person with the number and date of issue of the entry permit and the purpose of entry. (11) When a holder of a visa or entry permit arrives at a designated point of entry with the intention of residence or employment, the Immigration officer in that post shall require him to report at the Department within 15 days, and shall stamp the passport or travel document to that effect.
