1. With reference to the Political Resident's telegramsnos 810 and 823, of 10 and 15 November, I enclose the topcopies of the letters on Exchange Control received from theRulers of Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman, Umm al Qawain, Fujairah andRas al Khaimah, together with translations of all except thatfrom Ajman, which however follows the text in the kit.

2. The letter received from the Ruler of Abu Dhabi wasenclosed with my letter 1/24 of 2 November. As reported inIan Boag's letter ol 9 November to me, the Dubai letter onExchange Control is addressed to the Political Agent ratherthan the Political Resident. We agree with him that thisdoes not matter.
