Tribes of the trucial cent States
The tribe is on good terms with the Awāmir and on
bad terms with the Duru'.

The Al bu Khail roam mainly in Khatam. The tribe smen
used to go pearl-diving in larce numbers, but 20 fewzdo so.

A Baduin tribe of Najdi origin, 50 or 60 families of whom,
(led by their Shaikh 'Aqaiyan bin 'Ajaim, have their homes in the

neighbourhood of the Buraimi Oasis, and the foothills of Jabal
Hafit. They are to be found in the sands north of the oasis,

as far away as Faqqa and Yidaiya. The majority owe_allegianee are
Subject to Abu Dhabi, a few to Dubai.

Their sections are as follows:--
Al Shanan
Al Ghurab
Al Hathith

They appear to have no connection now with the
original Saudi tribe, but they have some connection with
the Ahbab in Qatar.

They are
Ghafiriyah and Hanabilah virtually Wahhabiyah).
An Arab speaking tribe from Persia.
Part of the tribe lives in Persia (Lingah area).

on tho Trucial Coast they live in Umm al Qaiwain and
Falaj al 'Ali. (

They are charcoal burners, peddlers and camel owners.
Some have fishing boats, but most of the seafarers of Umm
al Qaiwain are really Al bu Mahair by origin.
