- 2 - Buraimi - Wadi Al Jizzi track, and after that to the northerly extremity of the two mountains called Jebal Zarrub, Following the crest line of these two features to their southerly extremity, the line runs to the middle of the plain between Jebal Sababa and Jebal Malaqa, and onwards past the southern tip of the latter to the disused crater like well Tawi Awiyyir. Thence it continues south east, passing along the eastern edge of Jebal Mindissa, where the mountain meets the plain, and similarly along the Jebal Mithaimuma to the Thiqbat Sa'a (water point on the Falaj Sa'a). Thereafter the frontier runs south (177°) to a point on the northern tip of Jebal Dharuf. From here it continues west initially (265) to a point in the Wadi Maraikhat, which it then follows by its middle course to its continuation, known as Batha (water-course) Al Ashkhar, and along it to the point where this water course meets the main track from Buraimi to Hafit, 870 yards south of the Abu Dhabi police post at Maziad. From this point the line runs at a bearing of 300 to the isolated yellow mound Qurn Umbatah and to the water channel Al Aqda, following its middle course to the summit of Jebal Hafit. It then continues along the crest line of this mountain to a point immediately east of the most northerly water-course of the Sha'ab Al Chaf area, following the northern bank of this wadi (which later splits up into a number of separate channels) until it meets the Buraimi - Qabil track, where the marked portion of the frontier ends. From this point the line continues west (252) through the Sabkha Thuwaima, leaving Naga Al Hauz in Abu Dhabi, and then to the north of Husn Siqqiya (a small ruined fort wholly in Muscat). It continues in straight lines westwards to Jiz'at Daali (wooded area), to Ghaf Sanuta (small group of large trees), Hiyaira (small wooded area), and then crosses the plain Sillat al Muhanna one mile east of the Muhanna dune. The border then runs south eastwards, leaving Raq'at Ya'ariba in Abu Dhabi, to a point between Raq'at al Aradh and Sih Gnaiyyir, where it turns south, passing west of Raqa'at as Salli, to the summit of Naqa Sulaima. The frontier continues southwards to the dunes of Ramlat Saham and thence to a point in the sand just north of Shantut (Muscat). From this point it runs in a straight line to a large sand dune la miles west of Tawi al Augan, and on to the eastern end of the dune range Ura ar Rahail. Thence the border runs to a point halfway between the dunes of Mdairum and Raqaiyat (just south of Astro point Naga Hur) and continues southwards in straight lines east of Ghadda Bul Abbas to a point west of Khor Umm Al Aush (bitter well) and straight on to Al Ghuwaifat (scrubby trees) in Sih Awaiyya. From there it continues through Astro Point Sih Al Haira, and through the centre of the eastern Kharimat Gharaidha to the narrow part of western Sih Salil east of the sabkha. The border then /runs
